CENTRAL ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY

The Central Atlantic University wasn’t just formed but has evolved through a natural process as an organisation underpinning best of two distinct worlds – practical and hands on learning. The days of Lecture Theatres, Halls of Residence, binge drinking through the nights and the rest of the goodies have been marked for extinction by our political philanthropists ever since education became a burden to the States. Education Ministers throughout the world have dabbled with various alternatives to replace the traditional methods but none have found a perfect solution.

USA, Japan and Germany have been advocating the integration of the vocational concept into theoretical learning from the outset but the rest of the world has been extremely slow to adopt the model, but the third millennium enforces the implementation of this concept in order to resolve the unemployment predicament. Even before the use of Information Technology began to grow exponentially, Professional and Vocational qualifications were recognised and actively encouraged by the United States of America’s Educational Scheme.

Theory only learning has become an out-dated methodology to acquire qualifications in today’s economic world. Practical expertise is the priority of today’s learning concept.
